On the last day of 2008, Whimsy stoned for a very long time before writing this post.

I am so gonna miss 2008. Really. It was like almost the best year of the 16 years of my life. I cried less and laughed more often (because i was poked severely? haha =D )

So here is my resolutions for 2009

1) World Peace =D

Hmm. if there is really world peace, i guess the there wont be such thing as newspaper. Everything is running so smoothly and there is no natural disaster or whatever they can report.

2) Home Peace =)

Nowadays dad and mum keep raising their voice for no right of reasons >.<>.<

3) Less bullying by friends hmm. But i always have a good laugh after being bullied...ok i am contradicting myself.

4) 2009 will be as great as 2008!

I guess i will be counting down online with yiai again. Haha. Oh well, 2008 was a great year for me. I really hope 2009 will be a better year for everybody even though with recession and everything.

Maybe i shall multi task like waving my left hand to say bye to 2008 and waving my right hand to say hi to 2009. =D

On the last Monday of 2008. Emo-ness was totally gone finally! ( it's back! >.<） So yups. We went kbox first. The first thing Peikhee did when she saw me was POKING! Arg! >.<


Food was bad!! Eeyore doesnt like it! =(


Xuan Han was really funny. She was holding the mic and said '大家好！ 你们好吗' Haha it was like some opening of most concerts. I was so tempted to open the door and see people's reaction to it. Haha =D. I didnt sing 非你莫属 =（



Haha. This is really funny. By now i guess you know where we have been right.

Yups then we went bowling! It was really fun though my score was really pathetic. haha Peikhee was really pro! She was wearing a skirt yet she got 2 strikes. But Yuting still the pro-est ba.Haha

On the last sunday of 2008, my piano teacher gave me a list of questions the examiner may ask in DipABRSM Viva Voce. So here are some of the questions:

Q1) How did you choose your programme?
Whimsy's Ans: My teacher chose for me.

Q2) How did you come about to do the articulations for the fugue?
Whimsy's Ans: My teacher stood beside me and drew all the dynamics for me while i was playing during lesson

Q3)How would breathing affect the piece?
Whimsy's Ans: If i dont breathe, i will die of suffocation and cannot finish playing the piece.

Q4)Who is your favourite performer and why.
Whimsy's Ans: Whimsy. Because she is Whimsical =D

Q5)What is rubato?
Whimsy's Ans: It means shaking your finger rapidly while you press the key (hmm or is that called vibrato?! nevermind haha )

This is totally crap. Best answers if you want to fail your Viva Voce. Haha!

So Whimsy would like to thank ( no order)

1) Dearest weiling, for all the crazy moments. That includes eating maggies mee at 7-11 on christmas eve. Laughing non stop at starbucks. Camwhoring. Movie.It's really really fun. I cant believe it's over. Weiling, you will always be the siao4 hua1 haha!

2) Darling Ee ling. Thank you for agreeing to play with us! It's really great. Who cares if you cant memorise the 3 phrase of the Away in the Manger. We still got our scores!

3) Greatness Ying Hao. Haha you see that G word again. Anyway, thanks for conducting on during performance,or else whimsy could have done anything that is stupid!

And of coz the conductor who has got such a beautiful voice and sending us home!

Anyway, back to my day. After rehearsals in the late morning and afternoon, we were on our way to Vivo and here is Weiling's theory about 6 ways to be a successful woman

1) learn to wear heels
2) learn to walk with heels elegantly

3)run with heels

4) take out your heels quickly and throw at a guy
5)walking with heels without getting stuck
6)walking with heels on a moving bus

Ok guys, dont worry. I cant even walk on heels, so i wont throw them at you. But that also means i failed to be a successful woman. haha. X.X

anyway . so me and Weiling had to kill time from afternoon to night at Vivo. So we watched Yes Man! It was quite funny but storyline abit er... We had our dinner at 7-11 eating maggie mee. Yes, Maggie mee, pathetic i know. Like you see all the couples eating at the restaurants and both of us holding a cup of noodles. haha. nice way to spend my Christmas eve.

Then we continue camwhoring. Aiya, lazy to upload the photos. Its in facebook. Go see and it's not very nice to keep koping from weiling's album!

Yup, then we wanted to eat supper at Bens and Jerrys but no seat! arg! Then we went Haagen Dazz. We wanted to eat chocolate foundue but it was super expensive. Weiling suggested we should all date some rich boyfriends like *cough* . Haha

So we went back Starbucks to meet Ying Hao. By the way before that , Weiling misunderstood Starbucks as Starhub! Why would anyone want to wait for you at starhub!

It was really pathetic. Like 3 of us shared A piece of cheese cake and a drink. Haha it was really funny when weiling asked the guy for 2 more forks. Then the guys gave us the you-want-so-many-for-what look. Haha.

Then we went back to church and got ready for performance.



This was where we performed, behind the electone. Anyway, overall the performance was better than expected except not very Zun4 ,in other words out of tune(thats how Greatness Ying Hao pronounced it). Especially Away in the Manger first note!! It was our solo and i was like O.o but the rest was alright. But there were moments i few very awkward. Nevermind. But it was great to have Greatness Ying Hao to be conducting for 3 people?! haha

So yea, we were kinda nervous for the performance and now it's over!

I went for pratice today at the church




Was snapping these photos before the start of practice and in between breaks. Ying hao went like 哇！这么浪漫！haha. It looked really pretty!


Practice was alright. But i didnt quite understand the verse 1, 2 ,3 initially. When the conductor said we shall sing from verse 1 to 3. I stared at the score and went like where is that! Thanks to Ying hao's guidance. He really knows the piece well. Oh well , afterall he is GREATNESS Ying Hao * cough *


Anyway, there was this cute little girl at the church. She was really dam funny. She was playing the shaker and hitting it on on beat. And 3 of us were playing syncopation on off beat. This really confused eeling! Haha, in the end the mother took away the shaker!Poor little girl


And the people at the church were really nice! They offered us a lift home. But after they realise where we live ( which is pratically all over singapore). They went like Oh no! But they promised to pay for our taxi fare. That makes me feel kinda guilty.


I am really looking forward to wednesday.But i hope my energy can sustain from morning to past midnight! Haha and weiling we will chiong to 7-11 for maggie mee!! =D And weiling, my milo >.<

Yups primary school gathering was great. I love the lunch! Quite worth it actually. One set meal with free flow of drink and ice cream. I couldnt finish the chicken!! I should left the rice alone and keep eating ice cream!! >.<

i should have taken one scoop of each different favours of icecream and take a picture of it! haha! =D
Oh btw, i was dam blur! At the end of my meal, i then realised that i didnt have a cup for the drinks! -.-'''

Yea this was taken outside the cafe called swirl i think . Yea. Played stress there. I felt kinda guilty though coz sat there for like so many hours and didnt buy anything to eat.

Anyway, yeah i guess most of them didnt change much. haha. Except they are more mature. I guess. Everybody has grown so much. hmm, except me? Still as slow and maybe even blurer?! haha. Mum couldnt recognise most of my friends from that picture! She took so long to identify grace shong, sarah and celine and me!=)

WHIMSY is so HAPPY! Mon is the last day of work! Then i can truly enjoy my hols! So here is my plan:

1) Mug seriously mug for my theory exam!
I need to start memorising those italian, french and german terms!!! Whimsy is so not going to fail!

2) I need to practise real hard for my piano!
I havent started on my programme notes. And my Bach piece is really >.< No wonder Bach got jailed for composing music that was so difficult to understand.

3) Go Marina Barrage
seems like a nice place there

4) Build sandcastle at East Coast
Yiai you better dont run away

5) Bolt!
with yiai, sheree and sab hopefully

6) Watch sunset!
I know it's gonna be so pretty. Sunrise will be nice too,but i probably snore my way through

A bit paiseh, borrowed so long but read so little

I dont fancy shopping but really need to buy some stuff like shorts

Know what, the liang court christmas caroling was cancelled coz of technical problem!!!! WHAT THE!!! Now i am only left with the caroling at St theresa church. But oh well, GREATNESS Ying Hao (cough cough) promised to let us play the next gig. He wont break his promise like most people. I hope. So i guess it's the same, i am still playing 2 gigs this hols.

Oh yea, Congrats to my dear mei mei for getting the good progress award!!! You improved loads! Yea. Congrats to myself too for getting the eagles award for no right of reason too! haha. I thought this kind of awards are for people like yiai who contributed much to their cca and have loads of cca points and cip points. haha shall give some money to ma to buy more food f to eat. Then shall spend a bit to go and play and shall save the rest.

I forgot to blog about my trip to Turf City with Yiai. Maybe too pissed by people at Hyatt i guess. Haha. Anyway, sales there was rather short, 2 hours only! We earned around 200 plus plus. Close to 3 hundred. Broke Record. The lowest sales ever!! Haha=D. Then again, there were many other vendors as well. In a sense, it helps to attract people. But that also means profits being shared around. And whimsy managed to sold all Birdnest (BN 88) yea! Great sense of achievement!=D

When me and yiai saw the horses walking past, we dashed towards the road but still kept some distance away from them and we started snapping photos. See, people like us deprived of childhood. And yes here is the irony.In primary school , when my teacher said she is going to bring us to the zoo. We groan and complained like zoo again?! And when we grow up and see horse, we dash towards them like we have never seen them before in our entire life. Haha


My 白马王子!!!

Ok I am going M1 for sales tomorrow. I have been to Singtel, tomorrow going to m1, so i am left with Starhub? haha. I want to stay in office!!! Got tired of going out for sales. but i guess thats not quite possible since i dont know how to manage it alone! And great Jessica is back!! We need more people!

I see half of my name on msn home page!! Aww, but now even food doesnt make me feel happy. Yes especially chocs. WHIMSY RUNS AWAY FROM CHOCS!!!!

OK I feel dam emo now. Dont know why. Just rather disgusted by the some people at Hyatt.

This auntie wanted to buy ALL the gigabites. So 2 packets of gigabites cost 3.90 right. there were around 10 packets i think. So total would be around 19.50. She wanted me to sell her at 15 bucks. Like hello! This is so ridiculous! Then she start to say how inflexible we are, how can we do business like that and crap lar. This is so unfair to others!! Then she went like so you want to sell? Then me and sheree went like NOOOO! She went off like ok then i dont buy lor. I was like then dont buy! Whats the big deal. Come on, gigabites is so popular!

Then SHE CAME BACK! AND WE HAD ALREADY SOLD ALL THE GIGABITES! Haha!! And she wanted to buy this box of macadamia chocs that cost 4.90 per box. She said Girl, i buy 2 for 6 dollars. Hello again. 2 box is cost 9.8. It doesnt even hit 10 bucks and you are asking for 3 dollars off. Of coz both of us said NO! again. She went on like i dont care, you go and get a bag for me. I am getting this at 6. Why should whimsy listen to you! After much bargaining, we sold her that 2 box of chocs for 8.50. Story doesnt end here. SHE TOOK A BAR OF CHOCOLATE WAFER!!! Auntie ah, we opened that box of chocolate wafer to show people that the packaging comes in 12 bars. If you take one, then who is going to buy that 11 bars of wafer?! Amazing how thick skin people can be.

I WANT TO FAINT!


And there is this uncle who bought 54 bucks worth of birdnest. He said i only have 50 bucks,thats all i have. What can i do? So i gave him discount. No choice. Guess what he wanted to buy the tiramisu economy pack that cost 10 bucks. He emptied all his pocket. It cosisted of a 5 dollar notes and some randome coins. 5 dollar note. COUGH! The thing i was pissed was, he didnt even make an effort to check his pocket. Then he gave us his namecard (which i tore and threw it away). He is director from some company. And he went like give me a call, i can offer you a better job at my company. And the job is like COUGH AGAIN! Like what sheree said, seriously an insult! Yeah, thats why the name card is in the bin now.

On the other extreme end. There are really really nice people at Hyatt. This guy gave me and sheree a cup of hot milo, an apple ( actually 2 but we didnt eat the first one), and a delicious sandwich for branch! He isnt the in charge or whatsoever. Nice right.

The dish washer uncle. I forgot to give him a bar of chocs. Anyway, he was so nice to advertise around to everyone who pass by our stall. He told what we had done wrong like discarding our cardboards at the wrong place and selling to non staff which obviousuly sotongs like me dont know.

The indian chef who advertise for us. And yea, he attracted quite a number of people. He was really funny. He went like Any 3 for 10 bucks and you get a bottle of essence of chicken free!! Haha. Great entertainment for me and sheree.

We ate our dinner at like 8 plus. I was super hungry. I only ate the sandwich the guy gave me at around 11 plus and some samples in the afternoon. Me and sheree chiong to KFC at far east for dinner. I finished my fillet burger within 2 minutes. Break record. I finally understood what eechien always says 饿到饱. I started to play around with my cheese fries and ate at a super slow rate.

And yea. i missed the class bbq!!!!!! ARG!!! See thats the thing when you have too much feeling for everything, you feel dam sad when you missed it. This feeling sux. So for the next few days i am not going to visit anyone's blog from my class except sheree. Because, i will start to feel sad again and start harping about it. >.<

So yups, I went Marriott hotel with Sheree for sales today.



Uncle Billy was so nice. He purposely slowed down the car just to let me take the first photo!! =D thanks uncle!!

And oh, their staff lift rox!!! They have this button-door extend. So the door will remain open until you press close. Cool right. So you dont need to have one person in the lift pressing the button to keep the door open. I moved the goods in and out of the lift so easily.=)


Food was great!! Haha. The staff there place all their plates and bowls on a tray. Really organised. Like rice in a bowl, then the side dish in a plate, salad in another plate and soup in another bowl. I am totally opposite. Too hungry i guess. I simply just dumped the rice, side dish and salad in one plate. =P

Oh, when i was eating, there was a blackout!! cool right. experiencing a blackout in Marriott staff canteen. haha, the guys tried and help to restore the electricity.

Anyway, met this guy. A really ^10 nice guy. This auntie was asking him to buy a box of bird nest for her. She was only joking. And guess what he agreed. Then the auntie took, but put back later coz she felt abit guilty. I mean he was only working as some promoter promoting Christmas log cakes and stuff outside the hotel. I guess he is just part timer, his pay isnt really that much.And yea, so nice!The guy bought like 2 box of bird nest and bytes and tea! GOOD. All the bulky and heavy stuff. So that means i pack less and carry less stuff back =D

Today's sales wasnt as bad as expected. I love chef! They bought plenty of bird nest! We sold all BN88 including the sample! So yea next time i must marry a chef.

No 1 he can cook for me since i dont know how.

No2 got good food to eat.

No 3 got plenty of bird nest to eat.

HAHA crapping. But the bird nest was well sold because me and Sheree kept promoting them- we wanted to get rid of the heaviest goods!

I will be going Turf Club with Yiai tomorrow. Can see horse! And its only like 4 stops away from my house.Looking forward!

Today was really slacking at office. Mr Seah said he would reach by noon. And guess what. He reached office at 4pm. Thats like late afternoon.But,oh well that means we've got plenty time to slack.

I reached office at 8.30. We dropped sheree off at MOE first then me and sab went LTA for sales. So yea. We had to pack goods for 2 roadshows. There's hardly enough space for 4 people to fit into uncle billy's van. So me and sheree squeeze into 1 seat.( see xin i am not really that fat though =) ) And guess what happened on our way to MOE.The goods keep toppling off and hit my head !=(




I got a chance enter MOE building to help sheree carry the goods up.MOE pass is the nicest of all!! I forgot to take picture of LTA pass though =(

They gave us this huge conference room for sales. Haha Whimsy is the boss!! =D I look like an ant. So small.


Me and sab set up all the goods, without the help of miss elayne. Great sense of achievement!

Sales was really bad. But cant blame us. It was mainly due to the poor location and there were many other vendors too.So profits was shared around i guess.

Went for roadshow at Swissotel with Sabrina and E.I.

yups, as we were selling at the staff canteen, so we had to exchange our IC for this visitor pass. I was so pissed off by that security guy. He refused to accept my student pass as exchange for this pass, he only wanted my IC. I asked why. And he asked me back,'how am i supposed to know if that belongs to you?' Like hello, how would you know that the IC belongs to me as well! and there's photo there. He made me recite my IC number. Hello! Where's your passion of perfection? ( thats swissotel's motto). Cant people be more flexible?!

On the way to the staff canteen, i saw this painting on the wall. quite cute. haha =D

Lunch was delicious! really! I ate twice for dinner haha =P. Oh put it this way, you wont get a chance to these again, even if you pay because they are meant for the staff! oh well unless you work there in the future. I miss the noodles!!!

There were several funny incidents happened.

** so this guy bought birdnest.He asked me for discount. His friend came over and said,' you want discount right? Can,no problem. You quit your swisshotel job and go work in their company!! =D thats the most stupid thing to do.

** this lady was starring at the tea section for quite some time. She asked me if i only sell the tin. the same guy who asked his friend to quit the swisshotel job came over and said, ' You know what you should do, you buy the tea, give me all the content and you keep the tin'

** this auntie was wondering if she should buy the Nuss hazel nut wafer. So sab gave her try the sample. She went like eeyer, you look at the picture the nuts so big, in actual size cant even see! Then me, yiai and sab spotted this white visible nut among the chocolate wafer. 3 of us went like there is it!! She totally went speechless. haha

** 3 of us noticed that all the chef have this pocket on their shoulder that contains a knife. So we asked this chef that happened to pass by what that knife is for. He took it out and said, if you dont give me discount, i am going to threaten you with this! haha great sense of humour

So after packing up and everything, we went to the toilet and took this photo. Haha. Was supposed to spent my romantic night with E.I walking along singapore river. Sab was suppsoed to be the 电灯炮. But the rain spoiled our plan!! ARG! We went straight home after that! No fun =(
