Whimsy is back from SLCamp =) Shall talk about the camp
Day 1
Was informed through SMS early in the morning that i was changed to Group 1 instead. As expected i know no one in the group. =( We started off with some some ice breaker games. I found out that guys are totally deprived of childhood. They have never played any of the games before!
We had amazing race around the eastern side of Singapore in the afternoon. I conclude that the House Com peeps love eggs. We had so many games that involved the use of eggs. There is this one where they froze an ice cube with an egg inside and we were supposed to get the egg without breaking it. Guess what my group did. We borrowed a hammer from a construction worker nearby to break the side of the ice cube. =)
Then we had night walk at old changi hospital. It place was so creeeepy >.<>
Day 2
We were supposed to have PT but was cancelled. We set off to Pulau Ubin. Had to pitch our tents after being blindfolded. Ok i was pretty fascinated because i never pitch a tent before! I know i am a noob.

We had amazing race part 2. I dont like the telematch game because it burns my butt! =( Then there is this game where we were supposed to pick up 100 red beans at beach. I picked up a pretty pretty seashell too =D I am surprised it didnt break.
During the games. Emit Asia kept calling me coz my subscription was ending soon. I answered the first time and told them i dont want to continue subscribe. And they continued to pester me for the next few hours. so i switched off my phone .
We had to cook our own food and for the judges that night.We prepared cheese macaroni, campbell soup and mango pudding with peach for the judges. And we spammed ourselves with instant noodle. Apparently the judges love our mango pudding. She mention that for Nth times. I was like eh we didnt prepare it. We bought the mango pudding, place it on a plate and decorate it with a can of peach. =D
Day 3
We came back to mainland for rafting. we had to build our own raft.I was quite pressurising initially because the instructor came to my group to hurry us finish building the raft since we were the slowest. But who cares. Our raft was so strong that it can fit 2 groups! We shared our raft with yiai's group since theirs capsized.

Then we had some games, thats when i sprained my ankle =(. We played captain's ball with water bomb. Smart yiai threw the water bomb at her group member. -.- Good job yiai. And yiai poke me so i couldnt reach the ball. Evil yiai. The last game was tug of war. My group was so strong that the rope broke during the first round. =). But we kinda gave up the last 2 rounds because we wanted to rush off and shower =)
And yups we went back to pulau ubin. Love the boat ride. The scenery was so pretty!
Day 4
Nothing much on the last day. debrief pack up and stuff. The auction was very fun but kinda lame.So basically we can bid stuff using out points. The description was something transparent, really useful and can be shared among your group and it turned out to be containers. totally unexpected -.-
So yups. Thank you SLCampers! You have made a difference to my life. SPREAD THE TEMASEK SPIRIT!

Didnt attend 2nd day of SLCongress because i had music lessons in school . Heard that it was more fun compared to day 1. They had to hunt for jobs. Awww i missed all the fun. But day 1 wasnt too bad. I am still looking for the butt dance video by that TPJC guy. It was dam funny.
Anyway. my dearest MEP classmates suggested that i if i ever have a brother. He will be called Yusy. Because whimsy sounds like we see, and since my dearest sister is called Isy which sounds like I see so my brother should be called Yusy which sounds like You see. How creative indeed.

Attended SLCongress yesterday and they invited primary school kids. They made me feel so old. Being in primary school was such a long ago thing. I want to remain in primary school!
Anyway, the games were seriously over played so much so that we the jc people know what to do to protect the egg so that it wouldnt break when its thrown from the 3rd storey. How many times have we played this game in our life!
But i was pretty impressed by the primary school kids. This primary 5 kid just went to the stage in LT1 and started talking in front of everyone about his feelings and stuff for the day. So brave. I bet back in primary school, my teachers dont even know if i existed. What was more impressing was the way he spoke. He made eye contacts and used hand gestures.I foresee he has great potential in OP. I felt so guilty. This little little ah boy can do so much better than you whimsy! *shake head*

After OP!
Really love my PW group members. Thank you Krystel, Alicia, Yulin and Roy for the past 9 months. I will never forget the moment when Alicia came up with the name ' Harley Norman' when she forgot author of the book during Q&A practice, how Roy tried to crawl at Krystel's balcony thinking that we didnt see him because he didnt know that that was a one sided glass. And we had 3147 words for written report. =D
I guess they cant wait to get rid of me. They must be tired of my intolerable whining, explaining to me things that are so duh. But too bad. We are still in the same group for Econ's project!

Finally updating my blog! Anyway, watched Sister's Keeper with YiAi last week.
It was very touching. But i didnt cry as much as i expected. Oh well maybe because i read half of the book before. Anyway, as i was crying there was this irritating guy was tapping his foot loudly. Here i am sobbing and here you are happily tapping your foot. Noisy and caused negative externalities!
Yups the cinema was scary! There was less than 10 people watching the movie. Our seats were supposed to be the 2nd row from the back but it was so dark that we just sat somewhere randomly.
We bought bubble tea from Cup Walker. YUMMY! Thats not the point. The point is they gave me Hello Kitty cover and Hello Kitty Plastic bag. JUMPS JUMPS JUMPS!
YiAi poked the straw at kitty's face. I am so hurt! =(
Oh and there is a Hello Kitty Exhibition at Expo this month. I will definitely go no matter what! So excited! * continue jumping* =D

Something brilliant happened at wee hours today. Some random loanshark sprayed paint at my door but he wrote my neighbour's unit number on the wall instead. Genius. Dont even know who owe you money.
My whole house stink of those tin. Makes me feel like puking. ARG!
