HAPPY BIRTHDAY SABRINA!!!!

Anyway, so now Sabrina knows the secret.The secret of what we were doing last Thursday morning at Macs before we went celebration at Donut Empire. Haha we were making that book filled with photos of us of course. =D i am so proud of some of my artistic work. Especially the page where i drew my dear eeyore! So adorable and cute.And I like the page where everyone is represented by the smiley stickers of different expression.Got the idea from the recent trend of photos on facebook. Haha Those who want to see the book, ask yiai for the photos! She took a picture of every single page before we gave it to Sabrina.

Yeah and i know sab loves the present.=D We love you Sab!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARCH BABIES!!!

Shall NOT tell you what happened in the morning since oh well its a secret =D

everything went fine except the part the birthday babies had to wait outside the shop because non birthday people were late! Nevermind. Birthday babes are just anxious to celebrate their 17th year on planet earth in advance =D

Actually i planned to use 17 donuts but oh well the table wasnt big enough and it looked rather out of shape. And dear yiai contacted 17 people to come for this gathering but end up 14. But who cares. I think 14 is considered alot of people already!

Then we went back to TKGS. Non of the teachers were in school except Ms Yeo. Some of us tried to sneak away so that we dont need to walk all the way to the main gate from side gate to get our pass. Failed attempt.Oh well, the security guard is smart. And we camwhore

Prize presentation! Haha in my 4 years in tkgs, this is my 2nd time standing here. 1st time was receiving a present from the Istana. 2nd time is Sabrina/Whimsy presenting x to Whimsy/ Sabrina. Haha.

I love this photo! As what yiai said..so colourful. Whimsy would like to thank sab, verity (thanks for the kitty stamp) sheree, wynne,peixian ,jiamin, jessica, grace, sakina, eeling, winnie and zing for coming! Thank yiai for organising this with me. We shall meet up soon. Whimsy miss you all!

YEAH NO THEORY FOREVER!!!!!!!

Oh well thats provided I pass. I think i will just pass,getting 67 (passing is 66) or i will just fail. I cannot believe it's over! 3 hours just whisked past like that? I feel kinda cheated. I dare not think i will pass, for the I dont think i wont be able take the disappointment if i fail. But if i keep thinking i fail, i will just end up failing. What an irony.

Yup then me and Alastiair went to Clementi to meet the Jeslyn and Earnest for dinner before going for Leon Fleisher's Concert at Yong Siew Toh.

The seat was really bad!! 2nd row from the stage! I cannot see woodwind, brass and percussion players! I cant even see how he conducted and his fingering for piano! All i see is his back and his conductor chair sinking up and down.

Ok i shall stop complaining. At least i got to see the solo by the concert mistress. And it was just amazing to see the violins 1 reaching such a high position, yet sounding as one violin and doing vibrato at the same speed!Then again, i guess thats the minimum requirement for professional orchestra.

Managed to find some of the pieces performed yesterday.

Beethoven Coriolan Overture op 62. I like the opening motif. Keep singing in my head! =D

the next one was Mozart Double Piano Concerto. Leon Fleisher was conducting and playing the piano at the same time. Cool right. His multi tasking skills is better than any of us i suppose.=D But sadly i didnt really like this piece. Doesnt sound Mozart-ish to me.

The last one was Sergei Rachmaniov Symphony No 2 op 27. The Adaigo was super anticlimax! It ended with the strings using the tip of their bow. *pure silence* But the piece havent 'officially' ended yet since the conductor havent put down his baton. Guess what. Someone's mobile phone rang. Spoiled the silence, the peace and everything.I liked the last movement too. Cant remember the tune though :/

My first concert since long long time ago! Missed it! Haha we shall go more concerts as a MEP class since we have to go at least 8. But we can always go more than that =D I like going for concert, it somehow motivates me to practice piano. Then again somehow the motivation is gone the next day=(

Ok Thats all for now. whimsy shall work hard and play hard this hols!

Yeah! School ended at 10.00am because our seniors did well for A level! They worked hard, we enjoy!. Ok thats mean. Anyway, i like immediate effect. Unlike back in tkgs you must wait and wait for weeks and months.I only had 2 periods of lesson.

I did my Music recording. During the warm up, Jinhong was so fierce. He keep on shouting' wrong note! wrong chord!' I miss Berty! He wont be so fierce commenting my playing!

So we went to TKGS and were caught in the rain. My eeyore was drowned!!!! As usual, i didnt bring my umbrella. This was what happened

Whimsy: Who is willing to share umbrella with whimsy?!

Yiai: My umbrella got holes.

Sabrina: My umbrella will flip.

What kind of friends,aiyo!(joking!=D) In the end, sakina was nice enough to share with me!

Anyway, we didnt manage to talk to any of the teachers since they were all MIA. But we saw Mr Peh teaching (you joker!)and Mrs Ang is pregnant again.(sab: so pregnant!) We camwhored around the school!

Anyway, our class won the best vodcast! Vodcast people has done a great job! And for that, we won a 100 bucks haagen daz voucher. So i left TKGS with Dianne and went Haagen Daz at Siglap.

And guess how much we spent in total.And this exclude eeyore's share. (and yes i starved my dear boyfriend)

I went back to TKGS today to visit my dear string ensemble. They are so pro now although they dont have any members from YO. Really!All of them actually memorised the piece by heart.Maybe the should do what acsi did like put down the stands before they perform during SYF. They improved loads and they will get gold!! I know they will!!

Sorry the video was really lousy because i took it with my phone.Practice was so interesting because mr li made them smile =D while they play this piece. It was so funny!

I love viola section =D
