YEAH NO THEORY FOREVER!!!!!!!

Oh well thats provided I pass. I think i will just pass,getting 67 (passing is 66) or i will just fail. I cannot believe it's over! 3 hours just whisked past like that? I feel kinda cheated. I dare not think i will pass, for the I dont think i wont be able take the disappointment if i fail. But if i keep thinking i fail, i will just end up failing. What an irony.

Yup then me and Alastiair went to Clementi to meet the Jeslyn and Earnest for dinner before going for Leon Fleisher's Concert at Yong Siew Toh.

The seat was really bad!! 2nd row from the stage! I cannot see woodwind, brass and percussion players! I cant even see how he conducted and his fingering for piano! All i see is his back and his conductor chair sinking up and down.

Ok i shall stop complaining. At least i got to see the solo by the concert mistress. And it was just amazing to see the violins 1 reaching such a high position, yet sounding as one violin and doing vibrato at the same speed!Then again, i guess thats the minimum requirement for professional orchestra.

Managed to find some of the pieces performed yesterday.

Beethoven Coriolan Overture op 62. I like the opening motif. Keep singing in my head! =D

the next one was Mozart Double Piano Concerto. Leon Fleisher was conducting and playing the piano at the same time. Cool right. His multi tasking skills is better than any of us i suppose.=D But sadly i didnt really like this piece. Doesnt sound Mozart-ish to me.

The last one was Sergei Rachmaniov Symphony No 2 op 27. The Adaigo was super anticlimax! It ended with the strings using the tip of their bow. *pure silence* But the piece havent 'officially' ended yet since the conductor havent put down his baton. Guess what. Someone's mobile phone rang. Spoiled the silence, the peace and everything.I liked the last movement too. Cant remember the tune though :/

My first concert since long long time ago! Missed it! Haha we shall go more concerts as a MEP class since we have to go at least 8. But we can always go more than that =D I like going for concert, it somehow motivates me to practice piano. Then again somehow the motivation is gone the next day=(

Ok Thats all for now. whimsy shall work hard and play hard this hols!
