Whimsy is back from SLCamp =) Shall talk about the camp

Day 1

Was informed through SMS early in the morning that i was changed to Group 1 instead. As expected i know no one in the group. =( We started off with some some ice breaker games. I found out that guys are totally deprived of childhood. They have never played any of the games before!

We had amazing race around the eastern side of Singapore in the afternoon. I conclude that the House Com peeps love eggs. We had so many games that involved the use of eggs. There is this one where they froze an ice cube with an egg inside and we were supposed to get the egg without breaking it. Guess what my group did. We borrowed a hammer from a construction worker nearby to break the side of the ice cube. =)

Then we had night walk at old changi hospital. It place was so creeeepy >.<>

Day 2

We were supposed to have PT but was cancelled. We set off to Pulau Ubin. Had to pitch our tents after being blindfolded. Ok i was pretty fascinated because i never pitch a tent before! I know i am a noob.

We had amazing race part 2. I dont like the telematch game because it burns my butt! =( Then there is this game where we were supposed to pick up 100 red beans at beach. I picked up a pretty pretty seashell too =D I am surprised it didnt break.

During the games. Emit Asia kept calling me coz my subscription was ending soon. I answered the first time and told them i dont want to continue subscribe. And they continued to pester me for the next few hours. so i switched off my phone .

We had to cook our own food and for the judges that night.We prepared cheese macaroni, campbell soup and mango pudding with peach for the judges. And we spammed ourselves with instant noodle. Apparently the judges love our mango pudding. She mention that for Nth times. I was like eh we didnt prepare it. We bought the mango pudding, place it on a plate and decorate it with a can of peach. =D

Day 3

We came back to mainland for rafting. we had to build our own raft.I was quite pressurising initially because the instructor came to my group to hurry us finish building the raft since we were the slowest. But who cares. Our raft was so strong that it can fit 2 groups! We shared our raft with yiai's group since theirs capsized.

Then we had some games, thats when i sprained my ankle =(. We played captain's ball with water bomb. Smart yiai threw the water bomb at her group member. -.- Good job yiai. And yiai poke me so i couldnt reach the ball. Evil yiai. The last game was tug of war. My group was so strong that the rope broke during the first round. =). But we kinda gave up the last 2 rounds because we wanted to rush off and shower =)

And yups we went back to pulau ubin. Love the boat ride. The scenery was so pretty!

Day 4

Nothing much on the last day. debrief pack up and stuff. The auction was very fun but kinda lame.So basically we can bid stuff using out points. The description was something transparent, really useful and can be shared among your group and it turned out to be containers. totally unexpected -.-

So yups. Thank you SLCampers! You have made a difference to my life. SPREAD THE TEMASEK SPIRIT!
